A-Sold merchandise on account to Chair Lift Company for $18,746, terms 2/10, n/30, FOB shipping point. The merchandise had a cost of $13,390.


B-Chair Lift Company returned $1,250 of the merchandise it purchased. Winter Wonderland issued Chair Lift Co. a credit memo. The merchandise had a cost reflecting the normal mark up to arrive at selling price. The merchandise was defective and was not returned to inventory.

I am currently working an overnight shift which provides me with night differential which is imperative to me paying my bills. my employer has just contacted me and alerted me that because I called out due to a family emergency they are changing my shift to the day shift with no differential pay. They only provided me the option to work this shift for less pay ( 14 dollars per hr vs 12 dollars per hour) or " Leave the company". Is this legal?? could I still collect unemployment if I refuse? Would this be considered a doc in pay even if it is differential pay?


Other notes: This company has recently come under scrutiny for a racial comment in the training manual. There have been incidents of break in which left all of us at risk due to lack of security.

Traders buy or sell the stocks of companies. This is what I do for a living. Venture capitalists pump money into companies they believe will be profitable at some point in the future. They invest as shareholders but typically represent any number of interested parties seeking to control part of the action. They likely become part of the management side of things and are part of the team to steer things.


Depending upon the nature of the contract, a venture capitalist may not even be revealed to a company's management team, other than for a key corporate leader or two.


In a sense, you're right in thinking of the capitalist as a partner but this is so only because the capitalist's money enables a more aggressive campaign aimed at enabling the new company to move with greater nerve and authority.

I was in a car accident in July. I was at a red light when a Geico driver hit me from behind at about 15 miles per hour. It cost $980 to fix my truck. But i began to have whiplash in my neck. I went to the ER that night and they took xrays and said i have whiplash but no spine damage. I followed up with my Dr a couple days later and she wrote me a script to have some therapy at a chiropractors office. The chiorpractor called the adjuster and he told them to go ahead and file everything to geico insurance claim. He took xrays and inspected me and told me i had ligament damage and treated me for two months. During this two months i had extreme headaches from the tension and trouble sleeping due to it as well.


I will say that i had prior neck problems due to a compressed disk. But i was feeling totally fine before the accident. I sent them my bills and they just called to tell me they will only pay half the bills which total around $4500. I sent them a request for them to pay the bills in full plus used the 3x rule to be compensated for pain and suffering. They claim it was a minor accident and i couldn't have to have that much problems from it.


What can i do. I am not asking for money i don't deserve i jst want my bills paid. at this point i don't even care if i get pain and suffering money.

** Ok first of all I didn't ask to have chiropracting done, i asked my dr if i needed any follow up care for the injury (that was more than just whiplash). She ordered that I have at least a month of therapy from a therapist or a chiropractor. I chose the chiropractor because it has helped me in the past. I did only what the physicians and insurance adjuster told me to do. He said get whatever care you need to get better and he would settle up. He told my chiropracter office it was A O K to file this with third party insurance. If he had not they would have told me up font it might not get paid by Geico.


The only times i felt better is after leaving the chiropractor, until a day or two later. But the pain persistantly got better and better. It took two months to not feel stiffness or pain. If i had not got hit by some guy texting i wouldn't have had to deal with all this crap. This is not fraud like some of you may think. I actually GOT HURT!!!!!!

A lady recently ran into our van while we were at a stoplight. No one was seriously injured, but my wife was very sore, so I took her to the ER b/c it was a Saturday and the Dr was closed. It was a cervical strain but she felt fine a couple days later.


My main concern is not only retrieving enough to get our car repaired, but also the $200 in prescriptions and co-pay, as well as diminished value on our Van. We were looking to trade it in, in fact we were at the dealership a week and a half before the wreck. Now it is apparently worth close to 30% less no matter how good a repair is done.


What has happened so far is:


The insurance accepted fault

Their Appraiser spent all of 5 minutes looking at the car

We received a voicemail from the adjuster stating our check is in the mail. No amount, no other details.


It's ACCC insurance and i'm not sure what to expect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.


Also we live in Texas and I read a little about diminished value claims, but that most insurances deny them b/c lawyers won't take the case.

Thanks for the copy and paste off wiki site.. but I'm looking for real experience in the areas of retrieving the loss in value on my vehicle and dealing with the insurance adjuster just leaving a voicemail stating the check is in the mail w/out even talking to us. Yes everything has been filed with both insurances and pictures were taken, reports written etc etc...
