Just applied for a credit card last week, but I found out I was denied due to bad credit of 579.

This is only the second time I've applied for a credit card and I'm 22 y/o. I tried pulling up my credit report but I have to mail it in since they couldn't do it online.

Is this normal for people who don't have credit history?
