Can women get jobs as security guards?

I think that being a security guard could be a good job for me, but do people hire women? Or even give them interviews?

Currently, i'm younger than 20 and not very strong so I realise that I would be hopeless right now but I do weight training twice a week and I am trying to build muscle strength. Do you think taking steroids would help (as well as the weight training)? Also, is training even available for that kind of work? Like a course or something? Do you have to be qualified?
