Accounting software for someone who doesnt know accounting very well?

So I am starting a clothing business, and would like to start keeping my books in order properly. The problem is that accounting confuses me. I can never decide if something is a credit or debit, or exactly which accounts it effects, and how.


I don't want my books to be a mash up of guesses, and mistakes, making them useless but I have not found reviews on any software that is good for someone like me.


is quick books, really that simple? I tried wave,which I am now attempting to replace because they do not help at all with my problem
