Also what does the question, "do you want help paying medical bills from last 3 months" matter?
Are they going to charge you more if you answer "yes" to the latter?
I don't have income right now as I am technically "unemployed". I have been applying for gigs and hoping to land one soon. Anyways, I am wondering should I apply now (as an "unemployed" person) or apply when i land a gig?
I want to apply just to analyze my options. I am going need knee surgery sometime in the next year. I am 25 and male.
Additional Details I appreciate all the answers. I'm hoping one of the insurance agents can respond (insurance pickle???).
I was going to buy one of the bigger plans (more for premiums, less for deductible/out-of-pocket). $5000-$10000 is a lot of money!
Hopefully I will land a job and get insurance through them but even then it seems deductible will be high.
I was reading one of the obamacare plans (silver or gold or something...) had high premiums, but low deductibles/out-of-pockets which is ideal (I think...if calculated...) for someone who knows they are going to need care....
