Traders and monitors?

• verizon business internet service
• media monitors
• digital advertising screens

Just curious.

I've noticed on several TV shows & even in person that traders have what looks like 6-8 monitors on their desk.

How in the world can anyone keep track of & process all that info?

What are they all for? How many do they actually use? Why so many?

Any other information would be appreciated.
