Can new contracters at my cleaning job take the position of superviser from me?

I work for a cleaning company contracters in a busy Building but they have lost their contract since it hasnt been renewed. My position was Superviser. A new contracter has taken over so I was wondering if My position of superviser remains or have they the right to chose their own?
