Continues to receive calls from collection agency?

• earnings conference calls
• internet phone calls

I am an international student in KS. This summer my mother came to visit me and while she was here I took her to the emergency room several times. She doesn't have any health insurance, so I paid the bills for her. Since I went back home for the summer, I saw a lot of billing letters in my mail box when I come back. Then I paid them, and no more bill letters come for recent 3 months. I thought everything is paid, but recently I just received lots of calls and I search the numbers on the internet it shows they are from a collection agency. They asked to speak with my mum, I told them my mum is back home to China, but they just keep calling me. They won't tell me why they are calling and they insist to speak with my mum (I explained to them that there is no way they can talk with my mum, because she is now back to China and she doesn't speak English, but they won't give up).


I have called the hospital and they said there's no more balance due on my mother's account. How do I suppose to do with the calls from collection agency? I really don't know why they keep calling me, it's so annoying. It won't hurt my credits because it was my mother's name on every bill, but it's just disgust.


Any idea what I should do?
