11/12/13- That was the first day actually working as a pharmacist technician for the first time. I came in ten minutes early to work and did what I was told to or asked. I worked from 8:23a.m.-4:03p.m. Stayed a hour passed. I told one of the employees there that I was pregnant. This morning (11/13/13) I received a phone call from the pharmacist. He asked me if it was correct I am six months pregnant and I said yes. He stated that by the time I get trained I will be going to meternaty leave and he did not wanted that. After that he said he would send my check through the mail. I felt shocked and horrible after being fired after knowing I was pregnant. I was basically standing all day doing what I was suppose to without any problem.

Additional Details I want to dearly thank the people who took the time to read this and respond from a different point of view. I just needed to reassure myself if this is correct for the Pharmacist to do this.
Caren: I did not lie, I only worked one day. That same day I told a employee I was pregnant.
VicK: I do see your point of view of employees telling on each other and they do have multiple turnovers. I understand I should not like a environment like that but I have to make a living and focus on my job.
A Hunch: I understand the Pharmacist will not waste his time for a new employee to be working there for only three months but it seemed he was concerned on me going on maternity leave than actually working there. It is not like I only plan to work three months and nver work again. I wanted to actually come back less than a month after having birth.
wizjp and Pascal the Gambler: I do appreciate your response! I probably will consult for a lawyer consultation to see where it gets me. Thank you
