Here's my situation. I graduated college earlier this year. I got a job last week as a stockbroker trainee at a firm on wall street. I'm single, childless, debt free, no car, no house, no major expenses. I've done the math and at 15,000 per year I can sustain myself in NYC(food, rent, subway) and have 4,000 left over. The average income for a stock broker in nyc is 132,000. WHOA right? I'm willing to sacrifice having a family, house, and car. I also won't take any vacations or leave the city. If I make a decent salary I also plan on putting it in the stock market. I want to make the same trades that I would advise my clients to make so I would work hard to make sure my stock picks are profitable.
My question is what else can I do to become a millionaire by the time I'm 30? Is it possible/legal to be a full time broker and start a small business? I've also thought of playing poker on the weekends to supplement my income but I don't know if I'm good enough. I haven't played poker for cash since high school. Also I looked into treasury bills and they seem to have a pretty good return.

I need advice on how to get rich/wealthy?
