I want to become a veterinarain when I grow up and was maybe thinking of owning my own business.?

I will be about 26 years old when i graduate vet school and I want to have kids but i don't want to be old and have a 10 year old kid and not have any money. Like how long would it take to open a business and how much would it cost? like to me it seems i will be old and have nothing accomplished because i think it will take a long time to open my own business. I want to get my life started after college and have a family and a career and the fact that i will be old really bothers me. I don't know if it will be too much time and money to have my own business. I love animals so much and i would do anything for them.

Apart of me is really worried about money and that I am not going to beable to support a family. My life long dream is to build a log house and have about 3-5 children as crazy as that seems. Maybe I'm thinking it over to much and making it complicated but I just dont know. Please Help!
