- eliminate credit card debt
- paying off credit card
- business credit card offers
- us bank credit card processing
I lent someone my card. I was 14.
I moved away and as a result, i closed down the account (barclays) and when they asked me why i stupidly admitted that i had given it to someone to use.
I am now 17. I've tried opening accounts with Nationwide, Natwest, Halifax, Santander and Lloyds bank. All of them open but right after they are opened they get closed down again. (barclays sent me a letter saying they wouldnt give me an account ever as i breached their T&Cs)
When i asked the Santander banker if i was blacklisted he said he doesn;t see anything that suggests i may be and that i was too young.
I just tried opening a BASIC account with santander and halifax again and i was again rejected.
Experian and all those credit file companies won't register me as i am under 18. I have a house and bills and rent to pay therefore a bank account is an essential need right now.
Whats going on? What should i do? How do i resolve this?

Additional Details RighT.
Most of you are WAYY off.
Stan- Im in the UK, You can get a debit card at 11 with a parents consent. Which is what i did.
Lily- Me and my mother have issues. Shes abusive and unfit to look after a child. I have no other parents in the uk. My father is in south africa. But anyway you are just way off subject.
Piran- I will do what you said but regardless of what should or shouldnt have happened, i was 12. I was given an account. How can i lie about my age when you need both birth certificate and passport. Mate :l
and womansworld. No. For my questions in regards to my baby, its none of your business whether i say im 18 or 30. I'm not doing so cuz i have a personality disoder. I just want a civilised answer. Im living alone, with a child. I dont want to ask questions where people will only (like yourself and lily) start to talk about my age. Its irrelevant.
My question was generally asking for advice. But what happened here is that you told me what should have happened o
