I work at Waffle House as a server, so in working for tips.

If we don't make enough in tips one week, of course, Waffle House boosts us up to min wage, as they're supposed to. But I just noticed that when they do this, they DEDUCT that amount from my pay the next week. So I'm not really getting boosted to min wage, they're just giving me an advance, basically. Is this legal?
