My client was supposed to re-certify for SNAP and Medicaid,but for reasons I can't explain,she ignored it and has now received a letter saying her Medicaid and Medicaid waivers will be terminated on Dec 1st.
Is there any chance whatsoever she can call her caseworker and have them give her an extension on her coverage and a little more time to fill out and turn in the application?
She's elderly,and low income,absolutely needs the medication and caregivers.
Apparently they sent the notice on Oct 15th,and the deadline is Nov.30th. So it's not expired,but is just about there.Especially considering they ideally wanted everything by Nov 15th.
