What does it mean when you use a debit card in a store and.......?

• cash secured credit card
• cash store

It says 'would you like to receive cash back' ?? I want to go to the 'atm' but it's a lil' far out where i want to go. If i get something from the store and choose the '$25.00' cash back option will the cashier give me $25.00 back?? Because that's what i need.. Never done it before so i want to know, Thanks..
