I would like to analyze the data for major indices like SP500, Russel 2000, NASDAQ etc. I want to know:


1 what the **average position** for longs and shorts are

2 **how many longs and shorts there are**


Then I would like to combine the two and see how this relates to the instrument performance. All based on past data.
