Okay, So in may I got a job as a florist at a local florist shop.
I worked there till about october 3rd or so? I'm not sure, but it wasn't all too-long.
Well my boss, sat me down a week before that and proceeded to tell me. "Hey, its not you at all, its not your fault but my sales are just not /there/ and I can't afford to give you more than one 8 hour day a week. I'm sorry." I was really confused, but he stressed it wasn't my fault. He's ALSO the owner, and my manager was with me and acted like it was okay and everything was gonna be okay.
I work a few more mondays, been searching for a Job. When finally my boss/the owner, tells me that 'Oh your still hired here, and you can quit if you want, but I'm not giving you any hours at all for a month, I can't for the month, I'll message you, I'm sorry."
Its been WELL over a month. And now, he STILL hasn't called me and I STILL haven't been able to find a job.
I DONT want to quit, an TECHNICALLY I still 'work' there, he hasn't fired me. I'm so confused and angry and I just want to know if there is anything LEGALLY that I can do. Honestly, I'd just like to be able to collect unemployment till I can find a job. And quitting, wont do that.

Additional Details I live in Missouri, I'm part-time but I haven't not-had a job in over 2 years. I'm also half-sure that since I've been working for 2 years that I might be able to seek /some/ assistance. When I say LEGALLY I meant get unemployment etc etc. xD

I'm not fired...but he's not giving me hours. Help!?
