Let's say I have a private conversation with HR, my boss or security. After the conversation, I send them an e-mail containg the important points discussed. Now, I understand that e-mail is permanent record and serves as evidence. My question is this, will that e-mail serve as evidence in a court hearing if it gets to that point? How would an employer feel when I do such a thing. My goal is just to protect myself and that's why I ask this question.
Thanks

Question about documenting conversations/voicemails at work for use as evidence later.?
