husband has Zero credit history, neither of us has ever owned a house so we are in the category of first time home buyers. We have 12K in the bank and wants to become home owners in the next 1 to 2 years. Currently we have no car payments since we own our car, I have 2 secured credit cards which i have never been late on but did get a bit behind with paying off the balance each time but I'm back on track now so both cards are in good shape, my question now is how do we prepare our self for buying that house and is 1 to 2 years enough time to get our credits in great shape for a home loan.....
