Platinum plan for 25 year old non-smoker?

Do you think this would be the optimal plan for me to enroll in (platinum) given that I am 25 years old, male, non-smoker and most importantly I am in high likelihood to undergo orthopedic surgery this year?


Also, after the ACA funding increases will medicare become a valid insurance plan and just not something where everyone turns you away?
