I only get 1% gross on my savings in Santander. RBS are worse as they only offer 0.5%. I don't want the bank to keep my money as they give me nothing in return. Where can I safely keep £20k? Maybe banks will think twice next time before they offer ridiculous rates, if everybody did the same.
