Hi I want to ring HSBC up to ask if I could deposit a cheque in my name into someone else's account and if they say no I was going to ask to book a appointment to make my own account. Now I rang up HSBC on the number from the website, 08457404404. This led me to a automated service asking from branch code then my account number. I don't have a account... So how do I contact HSBC? Did I ring the wrong number?
