I have two renters policies how will my claim I filed be handled?

• company policies
• work injury claims
• secured credit card company

I filed a claim with both submited all info requested on ins company is being a pain in the *** treating me as if I'm hiding something because I have two policies.they covered diffrent things.so if something happened if one didn't pay the other would. So its been about a month what should I expect? I had stolen items and two weeks later I waa broken into again but nothing taken just ransacked police reports for each incident
