I'm trying to help my friend with an issue that she's having and we're stuck so I decided to come to Yahoo Answers and see what I can find out. She's pregnant and has finally been approved for Medicaid. Years and years ago she was with Blue Cross Blue Shield but hasn't been with them for quite some time. She scheduled her doctor's appointment with an office that accepts Medicaid but somehow Medicaid shows that Blue Cross Blue Shield is still listed as her primary insurance and Medicaid is secondary. We're confused as to how BSBS is even on there if she has not been with them for years but nevertheless the question is who does she need to contact to get that taken off? she's called 211- the Texas Health and Human Services line and they gave her a different number to call. She called that number which gave her yet another number to call. It really seems as though she is being given the runaround. Does anyone know who she should call to resolve this issue? Its driving her crazy!!!
Insurance showing up that I (my friend) dont have?
