My husband has carefirst health insurance which I think is a company through blue cross blue shield. Starting November 1 he has a $200 prescription deductible which isn't a big deal. It's the only deductible he has, it's good insurance and he doesn't pay anything through work. My question is, he has to get a prescription filled that day and it's around $600. Once he buys the $200 worth of medicine how much longer will it take for his insurance to cover the rest of the prescription?
How long after a deductible is paid will insurance start to pay?
