Terribly low pay? should i take the job?

Recently my school offered me a work in retail work. They said it is some exposure experience for me but the pay is miserable. I will be paid $15 for 8 hours with a one-hour break but I think it is miserable pay. I calculate it to be around $1.80 per hour and I feel that it is slavery and exploitation.


Should I take the job? I am 15-years-old.
