I'm turning 15 in a month and really would love to purchase an amazon kindle paperwhite with birthday money. Since I'm only turning 15, I don't have a credit card and I'm sure my mom wouldn't like the fact that I would have to have her card on the account (even though I wouldn't buy anything without asking first), so I was wondering if I put money on a Visa Gift Card and put that information on the account, would that work for purchasing books?

And what would happen once that card expires? Would I be able to purchase another card and put it onto my account?


Another question, could I get a visa gift card and use it to purchase the kindle initially from amazon . com? That way I wouldn't have to bother my mom/grandma to put my birthday money on their credit card to use it instead. Thank you in advance.
