If I worked at a temp job for about a month and I got fired there, is it going to hurt me a lot?

I was working as an assembly worker. Unfortunately I was not fast enough and one day the temp agency called to tell me that I didn't have to go to work anymore, which is what I assume is a nice way to say I'm fired. Will this hurt me a lot if I plan to get a real job someday?

Won't employers run background checks to see if I was employed? If I lie then it will make it seem more suspicious?
