Maryland - Can I be covered through my boyfriends health insurance?

I have been living with my boyfriend for over two years. Just recently lost my health insurance and am in thr process of a new job. I just officially changed my drivers lic address, but have had my car insurance listed at his address for over a year. He is employed by county gov and has kaiser insurance. Could I technically be covered through kaiser as a domestic partnership even though we aren't in a same sex relationship? My father (in MD) was able to do it for his gf with some proof.
