Barclays bank Higher Education account overdraft.?

I've just graduated and on my student account I already have a £200 overdraft , but soon my student account will be changed to a Higher Education account which has an overdraft limit of £1500. I was wondering if this overdraft will be applied automatically or if I will have to apply for it?


I can't really find a direct answer online and calling up is no use because I just keep getting passed around. Has anyone dealt with this before or know if it's automatic or not?
