Business Analyst vs Financial Analyst?

Very soon I may have the opportunity of obtaining an Analyst (more Finacial related) or a Prj Mng/Business Analyst position. I have a degree in Finance and will soon have a IT Management Certification. Both paths are of interest to me, but I'm not sure which is best for my future.


I like numbers and analytic related tasks.


I also like IT and the experience of becoming a project manager is of high interest to me.


Neither position is promised, but in terms of future career development, which one is best?


My biggest fear is choosing one and regretting it later on down the line.
