I defaulted a couple of years ago but I’ve since paid up my dues. I thought that’s the last time I’d hear of that ugly loan. Then, when I applied for another loan just last month, to my surprise, I was told they couldn’t give me one because they’d dug up my previous record and seen that I defaulted. I told them it’s paid up already, so clearly I’m not the type who’d run away from his loan. I was still denied though. What can I do in such a situation?
Can I still get a loan if I have bad credit score?
