Should I beg my job back?

I was hired as a teacher for a high school. I didn't think the job was right for me after some thought. Now I don't' have a job, and the other district that wanted to hire me is acting as if they don't need me now. I just resigned 3 days ago. Should I call him back and ask for my job back or should I keep my pride and avoid him being mad at me?
