Starbucks job shifts?

So I recently had a job interview at Starbucks, and I'm fairly confident I will get the job. Unfortunately I will probably have to work weekends, but I was wondering if your schedule ever changes there? If I say I can work weekends, will I be working weekends for the rest of my life, or month by month will my shifts change a little bit? Is it likely that I will get weekends off occasionally?
