I wouldn't worry about it. It's a standard sign off for all interviews as they don't like to give you any indication of how it went until they have had time to think about it. My successful job interviews have all ended this way followed by a phone call 2 or 3 days later to offer me the job. If you don't hear from them after a week or by the date indicated then you probably haven't been successful.
My top tip is to write to companies directly, even if they are not advertising. Most will keep you on file & you'll get a head start of any new jobs that arise, if you're really lucky you'll catch them just as a new position arises. Many companies don't even bother to advertise jobs any more & those that are advertised get a ludicrous amount of applications lowering your chances of success. The direct approach has always worked for me.
