Poorness in no way brings happiness. Just look at the lives of poor people whose salary are low. They have more problems, have higher crime rate, spend most of their money paying the bills, have mental illness, being jealous of successful people, can not buy what they want and so on, and there is no way they could actually be happy living like that. The benefit of the self justification that "i am poor but i am actually happy, money is not important" wears off REAL fast after you realize it is not true. I have no doubt they constantly struggle with how they are unsuccessful in the life, and they blame their incompetence, looking for another source to make them happy, which of course it will not.
Why do poor people look so unhappy, but rich people so happy?
