I need to file bankruptcy because I have not been able to find employment in the last 3 years. I have been using my cards for health insurance ($1158/mo) gas, meds etc.. I am now way over my head in debt. My husband also lost his job 3 years ago but has now gained employment.. and has excellent credit because My money from part time job and unemployment went into his account to pay bills..

I need to file bankruptcy but don't know if I can do it unless he also files..
