Can you put a fake nickname or title (ex. Rev or Dr) on a check if the person's legal name is included too?

Alright well I owe my good friend $1,000 and decided that I wanted to have some fun filling it out in the hopes of eliciting a reaction from both him and (most importantly) the tellers when he goes to deposit it.


Example:

pay to order of: Dr. [Real First Name] "some weird nickname" [Real Last Name]


The first and last name will be his real first and last name, but I wasn't sure if the addition of random titles and/or nicknames would void the check or prevent the bank from being able to accept it.
