How did the USA go from being (by far) the richest nation in the world after WW2 to not being so rich?

• pregnancy scare
• moving across country

This is my personal opinion. I could be wrong and I do not mean to insult anyone. Just my personal opinion.


1. Old Constitution and old laws


2. nation became nation of consumers


3. High ego makes blind to the realities does not allow to accept logically good compromiseable solutions


4. Too much freedom and democracy


5. Personal interests of corporations and small groups are above the interests of the country in whole


6. Corruption and lobby's deals


7. People are trying to get elected into the Government with purpose to have access to funds and sell the "projects" (enrich themselves) and not with the purpose to help people and the Country


8. Country was united - now it is not. There is no common suffering, common idea, common purpose or common enemy which would unite people.

OR IS ALL THIS HUGE MASSIVE DEBT SCARE...JUST A WELL CALCULATED MEDIA /COPORATE INVENTION?

SORRY ,,,SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN A "MEDIA/CORPORATE DISTORTION" ...AS THE "DEBTS" ARE REALLY MONEY OWED? OR IS THIS INVESTMENT "CASH"?
